Intellectual property
Every element of this site — structure, text, visuals, logos, design system, databases and source code — is protected by copyright and, where applicable, by trade mark and database rights. These elements belong to Beyond The Brackets or are licensed to it. Any reproduction, representation, adaptation or exploitation, in whole or in part, without prior written permission is prohibited and may constitute infringement. Client trade marks, logos and work shown in the portfolio remain the property of their respective owners and are reproduced with their agreement.
Content you submit
Documents, files and messages you upload to the client area remain yours. You grant us only the rights needed to perform our services: storage, display and technical processing. You warrant that you hold the rights to the content you submit and undertake not to include unlawful material in it.
Sales to consumers
The template marketplace is open to businesses and to private individuals alike. Where the buyer is a consumer within the meaning of the French Consumer Code, the following provisions apply in addition to our terms of sale.
Right of withdrawal — You normally have fourteen days to withdraw. For digital content supplied immediately and without a physical medium, that right lapses as soon as the download begins, following your express agreement and your express waiver of the right of withdrawal, both collected at checkout (art. L221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code).
Statutory guarantees — You benefit from the statutory guarantee of conformity (art. L217-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and from the guarantee against hidden defects (art. 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code), independently of any commercial warranty.
Consumer mediation
Beyond The Brackets has not yet joined a consumer mediation scheme. In the event of a dispute, please first send us a written complaint at contact@beyond-the-brackets.com: we undertake to answer within thirty days and to give you the appointed mediator's details as soon as we have joined a scheme.
The European Online Dispute Resolution platform ceased operating on 20 July 2025 and no longer accepts complaints.
Liability
We take great care over the accuracy of what we publish, without being able to guarantee it is free of error or perfectly current. The estimates produced by the online simulator and diagnostic are indicative only and constitute neither a quotation nor a contractual commitment. The site may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or for technical reasons outside our control. Nothing in this notice excludes or limits our liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence or personal injury, nor in any case where the applicable law forbids it — in particular towards consumers.
External links
This site may link to third-party sites whose content and data practices we do not control. Such links do not imply endorsement, and we accept no liability for that content. You are free to link to this site provided the link does not infringe our rights or suggest a partnership that does not exist.
Governing law and jurisdiction
This legal notice and the use of the site are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute with a business client falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts within the Paris Court of Appeal district. Consumers, however, keep the benefit of the mandatory rules of their country of residence: they may bring proceedings before the courts of their own domicile and rely on the protective provisions of their national law, which nothing in this notice can set aside.
Accessibility
We build this site aiming at level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2): checked contrast, keyboard navigation, a coherent heading structure and text alternatives. In fairness, no external accessibility audit has been carried out to date, so we claim no formal level of conformance. If any content remains inaccessible to you, tell us at contact@beyond-the-brackets.com — we will send you the information another way and fix the issue.
Reporting unlawful content
If you believe content published on this site is unlawful or infringes your rights, write to contact@beyond-the-brackets.com identifying the content precisely, its address and the grounds for your request. We acknowledge and handle every report as quickly as we can.
Design and development
Site designed, built and maintained in-house by Beyond The Brackets.
